Tall Johns House Wedding
Summer weddings are always a special time of year, and this one at Tall Johns House was no exception. Annie and Steff, surrounded by their closest family and friends, exchanged vows in a beautiful outdoor ceremony surrounded by lush greenery. As a wedding photographer, it’s always a joy to capture the natural, candid moments that happen throughout the day. From the bride and groom’s first look, to the laughter and tears during the ceremony, to the joyous celebration at the reception, every moment was special and unique.
The reception was held inside the modern barn at Tall Johns House. The rustic setting provided the perfect backdrop for the couple and their guests to dance the night away to the band ‘The Story Goes’. Tall Johns is a total blank canvas, DIY wedding venue. This allowed the couple total freedom meaning the groom was able to bring chefs from ‘The Pig near Bath’ where they worked to create a fully personal menu for Annie and Steff. This included some delicious loaded fries to keep all their guests fed late into the evening. The cake was created by the Brides mum and all the small details down to the embroidered napkins were thought through. Another highlight of the day was the family and group photos. As a wedding photographer, I know how important these photos are to the couple and their families, and I always strive to make sure they are captured beautifully and naturally. The couple wanted natural candid photos of them with their family and friends, and I am happy that I was able to deliver that for them.
All in all, it was a beautiful day filled with love and joy, and I feel honoured to have been able to capture it all through my lens. Annie and Steff were a joy to work with, and I wish them all the happiness in the world as they begin their new life together. I hope these photos will be treasured for years to come, bringing back fond memories of this special day for the couple and their loved ones.
